ASSISTANT SPA MANAGER – 5* Spa
STELLENBOSCH | Western-Cape, South Africa
START: A.S.A.P
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday – Sunday 09:00 – 18:00
- 1x weekend off per month + Days off in the week
REPORT TO: Spa Director
PACKAGE POTENTIAL & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- R25,000 per month Gross (final Offer will be based on experience & skills required)

- Commission earned on treatments performed (where operationally required)
- Commission earned on retail sold
MINIMUM RQUIREMENTS:
- Must be based in within the Cape Winelands district (Stellenbosch / Paarl / Franshoek / Somerset West / Wellington, etc.)
- Own, reliable vehicle due to location of the spa
- Beautifully groomed & professionally presentable
QUALIFICATION:
- Certification from a recognized Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Spa Management
- City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP
EXPERIENCE:
- At least FIVE years experience in a Senior Therapist / Managerial capacity
- Previous employment in a luxury establishment / hotel or cruise ship spa essential
KEY SKILLS:
- Computer literate and confident
- Able to train staff on spa protocols and follow up on company brand trainings
- Able to lead and develop employees and services
- Knowledge of spa procedures
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs
- Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of and ability to sell spa products
- Able to assist with ad-hoc duties in other departments of the property if operationally required by management
- Comfortable performing spa & beauty therapies when operationally / ad-hoc required
