About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Brand Ambassador to join our team in Stellenbosch, responsible for driving wine sales growth beyond the estate, building strong trade relationships, and elevating brand presence across key markets. The ideal candidate will be a confident, self-motivated sales professional with a passion for brand storytelling and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and optimise wine sales outside of the estate across trade, corporate, and private clients
- Achieve set targets relating to volume, availability, and brand visibility
- Negotiate and secure wine listings within target outlets
- Maintain and grow existing trade relationships and active listings
- Represent the brand at wine shows, trade events, and tastings
- Plan and execute CRM activities to build and maintain a strong client database
- Conduct regular outlet visits aligned with best practice call cycles
- Organise and facilitate wine tastings for trade, corporate clients, and private events
- Execute brand activations across on- and off-consumption channels
- Educate and train trade staff and third-party distributors on the brand
- Identify and propose high-value events and opportunities for brand exposure
- Compile monthly reports, including sales performance and market feedback
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary sales/marketing qualification
- Wine related qualifications are advantageous
- Minimum 3 years experience in FMCG sales, preferably within the wine industry
- At least 3 years of knowledge in the wine industry (essential)
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle (essential)
