About the Role
We are seeking a Project Finance Analyst to support the development, financing, and execution of renewable and conventional energy projects. This role provides exposure to financial modelling, investment analysis, and transaction support, playing a key part in structuring debt and equity financing, evaluating project economics, and supporting investment committees.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimise detailed project finance models to assess investment returns, funding requirements, and sensitivities
- Assist in structuring and negotiating debt and equity financing with lenders, investors, and other stakeholders
- Support financial due diligence, financial close activities, and preparation of investment committee papers
- Monitor and forecast cash positions across the group and liaise with banks on treasury products
- Track financial performance of operating assets and update models post-financial close
- Provide input into bid submissions, PPAs, equipment rental agreements, and valuation exercises
- Support capital structuring, portfolio optimisation, and corporate budgeting processes
- Contribute to enhancements in capital raising processes, internal controls, and automation initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Professional qualification (e.g., CA) preferred but not required
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, project finance, credit analysis, or structured finance
- Exposure to project finance, capital markets, leveraged finance, or investment transactions preferred
