About the Role
The Interior Design Product Co-Ordinator role at Merand Corbett & Associates requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist with the coordination and management of interior design products and ranges. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in interior design, décor, and retail products, as well as excellent administrative and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and management of interior design products and ranges
- Support showroom displays, ensuring products are presented in an aesthetically pleasing and on-trend manner
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product information, availability, and pricing
- Maintain accurate product data, pricing, and specifications with a high level of attention to detail
- Assist with product selection and recommendations for clients, demonstrating a good eye for design
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock planning and ordering
- Stay up to date with current interior design trends and product innovations
- Provide administrative support to the design and sales teams
- Work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to the work environment
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Interior Design (or related field) advantageous
- Strong interest in interior design, décor, and retail products
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (essential)
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Computer literate (MS Office required)
- Well-presented, reliable, and professional
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
