About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Creditors Accountant to join our team in Stellenbosch. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for processing and reconciling service provider invoices, managing transport routes, and ensuring timely payments. Key Responsibilities
- Process, capture, and reconcile service provider invoices
- Prepare remittances and ensure timely payments
- Monitor and allocate costs accurately against shipments
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and liaise with internal teams
- Manage transport routes and key client accounts
- Perform monthly reconciliations and maintain accurate records
- Utilise Excel and financial systems (QX) for reporting and processing
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting / Finance (or relevant experience)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- Experience in creditors, reconciliations, and high-volume data processing
- Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or fruit industry advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to meet deadlines
