About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing building projects on a national basis and providing expert quantity surveying services. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage building projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with CCS regulations and international standards
  • Conduct site staff management, including IR (if necessary), and motivate/mentor surveyors to achieve project goals
  • Provide expert advice on contract law, insurances, financial reporting, SHEQ legislation, and construction methods
  • Measure outputs, program projects, and schedule construction activities to meet deadlines
  • Travel as required to visit sites and ensure project delivery

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Quantity Surveying
  • 8 years of experience in building projects on a national basis
  • Certification in CCS (Certified Construction Specialist)
  • Proven experience in contract law, insurances, financial reporting, SHEQ legislation, and construction methods
  • Experience in site staff management (including IR if necessary)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Formal education in Quantity Surveying (Bachelor’s degree)
