This is a live-in role, ideal for a chef with a flair for creativity, strong leadership, and a commitment to delivering five-star culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will be guest-facing, hands-on, and confident leading a dynamic kitchen team.

? Key Focus Areas:

? Kitchen Operations & Financial Control

Oversee kitchen administration to minimise shortages and wastage

Full accountability for stock control, variances, and cost management

Implement effective stock systems and cost-saving initiatives

Maintain and manage kitchen assets and ensure regular upkeep

Analyse monthly kitchen accounts and take corrective action

Ensure profitability of the kitchen department

? Hygiene, Standards & Food Quality

Ensure top hygiene standards in all kitchen areas

Monitor fridge and store room levels and cleanliness

Maintain high food quality, taste, and presentation

Standardise portion sizes and plating consistency

Adhere to top-tier food safety and preparation standards

?? Guest Interaction & Service Delivery

Interact with guests to enhance the culinary experience

Maintain a visible presence during service and lead by example

Work closely with Front of House and Management teams

? Team Training & Development

Identify and grow internal talent

Implement structured training programmes

Provide mentorship and regular performance feedback

Drive performance management and succession planning

? Menu Design & Innovation

Design menus for multiple outlets and various dietary needs

Stay updated on international culinary trends

Use creativity to elevate the guest dining experience

Requirements:

Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications

5-star hospitality and remote property experience preferred

Knowledge of dietary, religious, and cultural food needs

Proven track record in kitchen and budget management

Excellent time management and communication skills

Strong leadership with a passion for developing others

Hands-on, energetic, and guest-focused approach
