About the Role
As a Group Financial Manager at Communicate Finance, you will take ownership of the group consolidation process across a portfolio of local and international entities. You will be responsible for producing and reviewing monthly management reports, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets, as well as leading the year-end financial reporting cycle and managing the group audit process end-to-end.

- Lead the year-end financial reporting cycle and manage the group audit process end-to-end
- Oversee month-end reviews, ensuring accuracy across income statements and balance sheets
- Monitor and manage working capital, cash flow visibility, and payment processes across entities
- Strengthen and maintain the group’s financial control environment
- Drive improvements through automation and standardisation of finance processes and controls
- Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with all relevant statutory requirements
- Act as the key owner of financial systems, including enhancements and process optimisation
- Coordinate audit requirements and deliverables with external auditors
- Collaborate with business units to identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Lead and develop finance teams to ensure consistent, high-quality output and performance
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior financial management role
Strong background in group consolidations, reporting, and audit coordination
In-depth knowledge of financial controls, governance, and risk frameworks
Demonstrated ability to improve processes and implement systems enhancements
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders
Qualifications
BCom Degree or equivalent
CA(SA) designation preferred
