About the Role
The Senior Quality Controller position at iStaff (Pty) Ltd is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage a team of quality control inspectors, analysts, and technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive quality control systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors, analysts, and technicians.
- Quality Control Processes: Develop and implement comprehensive quality control systems, processes, and procedures.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in quality control
- 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role
- Matric
- Degree/Diploma in related field
- Professional Registration (Advantages) (FSSC, ISO, SAQI)
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, processes, and procedures
- Experience with quality management software and statistical analysis tools
