Job Summary
As Reservations Consultant, you will play a key role in the commercial success of our luxury properties by managing the reservation process end-to-end and delivering a seamless, guest-centric experience.
Reservation & Guest Management:
- Respond to all reservation inquiries via email, phone, and third-party platforms
- Process and confirm individual and group bookings accurately and promptly
- Maintain guest profiles and preferences for seamless service delivery
- Manage special requests and coordinate with relevant departments
Revenue & Channel Support:
- Maximise occupancy and revenue through upselling and conversion
- Work with OTA platforms, channel managers, and booking engines to ensure rate accuracy and availability
- Process payments, deposits, and cancellations in line with policy
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare daily arrival reports and support operational planning and other reporting
- Maintain clear records of all correspondence and guest communication
- Support rate updates and commercial team reporting
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar reservations role, preferably in luxury hotels or lodges
- Proficiency in Opera, Protel or similar systems preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- South African Citizens only (no work permits available)

Additional Requirements:
- Experience with multiple-property reservations an advantage
- Understanding of OTA platforms, rate parity, and channel management beneficial
