About the Role
We are seeking a Field Research Technician to join our team in Tzaneen, where you will be responsible for conducting field research and data collection to support crop production and horticulture operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field research and data collection on crop production and horticulture practices
- Assist with plant propagation, planting programs, and field crop management
- Monitor crop nutrition, irrigation management, and fertilizer programs
- Maintain accurate records using MS Office, Excel, Power BI, or GioFarmer for data tracking and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Science, or related field
- 3 Years experience in crop production, horticulture, or agricultural operations
- Experience with plant propagation, planting programs, and field crop management
- Knowledge of crop nutrition, irrigation management, and fertilizer programs
