About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing VW Passenger, Audi, and VW Commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards. The role includes performing mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring vehicle safety and reliability, and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and repairing VW Passenger, Audi, and VW Commercial vehicles.
- Performing electrical repairs across VW Passenger, Audi, and VW Commercial models.
- Ensuring road safety through high-quality workmanship.
- Keeping up to date with technical developments via workshop bulletins and manuals.
- Adhering to workshop regulations and safety standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
- Training assigned apprentices.
- Assisting in vehicle preparation for press launches.
- Fitting required accessories to company models.
- Ensuring all work carried out in-house or by suppliers meets required quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Matric / N3 Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Trade Test Certificate: Motor Mechanic
- Valid Master Technician qualification at dealer level
