About the Role
The Portfolio Analyst plays a critical role in driving market information, trend analysis, and industry requirements to inform product decisions for the region. This position requires strong analytical skills, project management expertise, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, organise and control cross-divisional teams for successful project evaluations and sign-offs
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor internal resources for flawless project execution
- Develop project scopes and objectives involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
- Conduct project feasibility studies for local manufacture with a view to longer-term full-scale production
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress on assigned projects
- Ascertain resource and capacity requirements from all divisions
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate techniques
- Measure project performance using systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate progress of projects to management as needed
- Perform risk management processes to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain good relationships with stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for top management decisions
Requirements
- Tertiary Qualification in Marketing, Finance or Engineering discipline (3 Years)
- 3 Years’ experience
- Formal training in Project Management
- Successful completion of the LDQ Desktop
- Practical research experience
- Team / task leadership experience
- Scenario planning or evaluation
- Proven track record of Project Management Business case preparation and analysis
