About the Role
Our Luxury Game Reserve in the Waterberg area is seeking a skilled Cluster Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, as well as providing strategic financial support to executive management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accounting records in line with applicable reporting standards and Group Finance SOPs.
- Process and reconcile cashbooks/bank accounts, including monthly payroll, VAT, and supplier contracts.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management and executive approval.
- Conduct and participate in monthly feedback meetings with HOD team to review prior months’ financial results and operational issues.
- Provide financial guidance to department managers and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Required).
- Completed SAICA/SAIPA/CIMA articles or equivalent (Preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of financial management experience, with at least 2 years in the hospitality industry.
- Proficient on SAGE Evolution & SAGE Intacct and advanced Excel.
- Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards (IAS, IFRS).
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: Negotiable (DOE).
Medical aid: 50% contribution for main member, in terms of group policy.
Pension contribution by employer and employee; 1 meal per day while on duty/meal allowance and a house on the reserve.
