About the Role
This exciting opportunity has come up at a manufacturer and supplier of equipment for the mining sector. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create conceptual drawings for quotation / estimating.
- Design and supply of manufacturing drawings to suit customer requirements.
- Liaise and consult with Sales department.
- Supply drawings for information on request.
- Utilise computer software to prepare estimates and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with various departments to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Technical Drawing (essential).
- A technical tertiary education (advantageous).
- Minimum 3 years within ideally mining machinery sector.
- Computer literacy essential Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
- Drawing experience essential.
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Solidworks experience (advantageous).
Qualifications
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Technical Drawing.
