Job Summary
Maintain accurate financial records through to trial balance, including daily cashbook entries and journal postings
Perform thorough monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between system records and actual bank activity
Reconcile all balance sheet accounts regularly, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
Oversee and update vehicle and fleet logbooks, keeping records current and compliant
Handle VAT and payroll tax (EMP201) reconciliations and submissions to SARS on a monthly basis
Support the year-end financial process by assisting with audit preparation and closing procedures
Manage the full creditors function, from invoice processing to preparing the monthly payment schedule
Capture and track purchase orders, ensuring proper authorisation and alignment with supplier documentation
Take ownership of a range of finance and admin tasks to support the smooth running of the finance department
Skills & Experience:
2-3 years of experience performing the full Bookkeeping function
Proficiency in MS office and Syspro
Reliable transport
Qualification:
Completed diploma or degree in finance would be beneficial
Grade 12 (matric)
