• Lead the design and implementation of advanced collections and recovery strategies.
• Build, test, and optimise models across the collections lifecycle.
• Analyse portfolio performance and identify actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Partner with BI teams to design dashboards and drive data-led decision-making.
• Use champion/challenger testing to refine portfolio strategies.
• Mentor and guide operations to embed data-driven methods into daily processes.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Honours Degree or equivalent (BCom, BSc, or similar) with majors in Maths, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Actuarial Science.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar analytical or strategic collections role.
• Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, R, AWS, and Advanced Excel.
• Proven experience in designing and optimising collections and recovery campaigns.
• Background in financial services, banking, or lending is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate data into business action.
