About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Secretary (Transfers) to join our team at Cecile Personnel (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a key member of our conveyancing department, you will be responsible for managing transfer files from instruction to registration, drafting and preparing transfer documents, and liaising with clients, estate agents, banks, and Deeds Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing transfer files from instruction to registration
- Drafting and preparing transfer documents and related correspondence
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, banks, and Deeds Office
- Attending to FICA requirements and compliance documentation
- Opening, maintaining, and closing files accurately
- Managing diaries, follow-ups, and deadlines
- General conveyancing administration and secretarial duties
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Secretary (Transfers)
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures
- Experience dealing with Deeds Office and bank instructions
- Excellent typing, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Proficient in MS Word and legal conveyancing systems
