About the Role
As a Cyber Security Analyst at Communicate Finance, you will be responsible for detecting and monitoring threats to our systems, while also collaborating with our team to investigate incidents and document heroic deeds. You will hunt down vulnerabilities and rogue devices, perform security assessments, update risk registers, and keep action plans ready. Your ultimate goal will be to identify and report non-compliance, ensuring that love and rules matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Detect and monitor threats before they can break hearts—or systems
- Investigate incidents, collaborate with your team, and document heroic deeds
- Hunt down vulnerabilities and rogue devices like a love-struck detective
- Perform security assessments, update risk registers, and keep action plans ready
- Identify and report non-compliance—because love and rules matter
- Run phishing and behavioural security simulations (without breaking anyone’s heart!)
- Conduct controlled attack simulations to test organisational resilience
- Produce management reports that make security insights irresistible
- Get hands-on with Defender XDR, Intune, and Red Team platforms
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of experience in analyst or operations roles
Experienced with Microsoft security suite (because nothing says “I Love Security like Defender XDR)
Hold a valid drivers license (because sometimes, love and security requires a little travel)
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Certified in CompTIA Security+, ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity, or ISACA Certified Cybersecurity Operations Analyst
