Job Description
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on industrial and manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Assist in assembling, wiring, and testing of control panels and electrical systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and electrical standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering and mechanical teams to support production and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with project documentation when required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician (Trade Tested – Red Seal).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
- Experience with panel wiring, control systems, and fault finding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
