Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and optimize the company’s financial position.
- Develop financial strategies to enhance business performance and drive profitability.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns, financial audits, and other regulatory filings.
- Oversee financial controls and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Supervise and mentor a small team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Key Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA(SA) preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial management role, with a strong background in the fintech/IT industry.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- In-depth understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
