Conova (PTY) LTD is seeking a highly skilled Global Equity Analyst to join our team in Western Cape. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting global equity research, developing investment theses and valuation models, and contributing to investment meetings. Key Responsibilities

• Understand portfolio management as a wider discipline, applying a range of portfolio management tools and techniques
• Develop and maintain coverage of stocks and assisting junior analysts
• Conduct global equity research, developing investment theses and valuation models
• Analyse companies using a fundamental framework and identify investment opportunities
• Produce in-depth research reports and maintain coverage of companies
• Engage with company management, investor relations, and external research providers to gain insights into company and sector dynamics
• Contribute to investment meetings, collaborate with the research team, and support investment decision-making
• Represent the firm at management meetings, results presentations, and industry events
• Support continuous improvement of research processes and contribute positively to the broader business and team environment

Requirements

• Bachelor of Business Science (or related degree)
• CFA Charter Holder
• CA(SA) (advantageous)
