About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Immersive Technology Specialist to join our team at AF Consulting. As a key member of our AV and immersive technology support, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting cutting-edge systems, providing expert technical support across multiple countries, and planning and implementing innovative projects that elevate luxury guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot AV and immersive systems (VR headsets, projectors, sound systems, digital displays).
- Provide first-line and advanced technical support across multiple countries.
- Plan and implement immersive tech projects, from design through to rollout.
- Collaborate with global teams to test and prototype emerging technologies.
- Train staff on the correct use of AV and VR systems.
- Research and recommend future technologies that elevate luxury guest experiences.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering, IT, Digital Media, Audio-Visual Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in AV/immersive technologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of hardware such as VR headsets, projectors, sound systems, and networked AV setups.
- Coding knowledge (VR/AR environments an advantage).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication in Afrikaans and English.
