About the Role
As an Industrial Designer at Persona Staff, you will be responsible for conceptualising and developing new stainless steel wire product designs that meet market and customer requirements. You will work closely with our manufacturing team to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective for production, while also creating visual assets and product imagery for various marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and develop new stainless steel wire product designs based on market and customer requirements
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective for production
- Assist with prototyping, testing, and refining product designs to improve functionality and durability
- Design product packaging concepts and layouts aligned with brand identity
- Create visual assets and product imagery for catalogues, website, and social media platforms
- Assist in managing and updating the company’s social media presence, showcasing products and new developments
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure products are presented professionally across all marketing channels
- Support the development of product documentation and marketing material
- Contribute ideas for new product innovations and improvements
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (essential)
- Experience with CorelDRAW or similar graphic design software
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and product development
- Ability to translate design concepts into functional, manufacturable products
- Interest in branding, packaging design, and digital marketing
