About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team at Wild Dreams Hospitality, a DMC specialising in tailor-made journeys across Southern and Eastern Africa. As a small, owner-run business, we partner closely with international travel advisors to design highly personalised itineraries, focusing on flow, detail, and seamless execution. Our fast-paced environment requires accuracy, accountability, and clear communication at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage FIT enquiries and convert them into detailed, well-structured travel proposals
- Design tailor-made itineraries across Southern Africa
- Handle bookings from quote stage through to confirmation
- Liaise with suppliers and secure availability
- Ensure all documentation (itineraries, vouchers, invoices) is accurate and complete
- Manage amendments and client requests efficiently
- Work within internal systems and processes to maintain consistency and quality
- Communicate clearly and professionally with international travel advisors
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a travel consulting or tour operating role
- Proven experience with tailor-made / FIT itineraries (essential)
- Strong understanding of Southern Africa destinations (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously
- Fast, clear, and professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment

Salary & Benefits
Salary: R15,000 – R18,000 per month (depending on experience). A performance-based commission structure is in place.
