About the Role
As a Sales Manager at The Building Company’s Gansbaai store, you will be responsible for managing the sales and brand presence in-store while adhering to company policies and procedures. Your primary goal is to enhance the Brand’s market share through effective customer service, promotions, advertising, and public relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal with customer complaints effectively and resolve them promptly
- Coordinate promotions, advertising, and all public relations for the store
- Grow, develop, and build awareness of the product and service offering
- Identify new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies
- Handle client queries and problem-solving
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products, services, and processes
- Stay up-to-date with competitors’ activities and industry trends
- Manage client relationships throughout the sales cycle
- Optimize sales efficiencies and processes to ensure customer satisfaction
- Uphold and promote the company values and culture
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a sales, marketing, and field role
- Relevant industry knowledge and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a sales, marketing, and/or technical field (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license
