About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the Western Cape region, working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of technical products and solution-based selling, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Working pro-actively towards regional sales targets in line with budget requirements
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through cold calling and targeted prospecting
- Conducting product demonstrations and providing technical input aligned to customer requirements
- Understanding customer operations to recommend appropriate equipment and solutions
- Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support project execution and customer satisfaction
- Maintaining accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reporting
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification (commercial, technical, or related field)
- Industrial equipment – requires strong product knowledge
- Proven experience in sales of capital or industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of technical products and solution-based selling
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
- Willingness to travel within the Eastern Cape as required
- Valid driver’s License
