About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organized Storeman to join our team at Techbridge Recruitment in Tokai, Western Cape. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and storing automotive parts, as well as assisting customers and sales staff with part inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments
- Organize and maintain parts inventory in designated storage areas
- Pick, pack, and dispatch parts orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate stock records using computerized inventory management systems
- Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Identify and report damaged, obsolete, or slow-moving stock
- Ensure proper storage conditions and security of all parts
- Assist customers and sales staff in locating specific parts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Process returns and warranty claims as required
- Generate inventory reports and assist with stock analysis
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate (Matric)
- Computer literacy with proficiency in inventory management software
- Experience with stock control systems and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in a warehouse environment
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory calculations
- Clear communication skills in English
