About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our team in Stellenbosch, South Africa. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and contributing to the overall success of our automotive dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate stock levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing inventory
- Implement and enforce effective stock control procedures to minimize losses and optimize inventory turnover
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure timely delivery of products and meet customer demands
- Perform vehicle invoicing and registration processes in accordance with NATIS regulations
- Provide exceptional administrative support to the dealership management team
- Utilize Excel and dealership management systems to track inventory, manage orders, and analyze performance metrics
Requirements
- Previous stock control experience, preferably in the automotive sector
- Strong administrative, organisational, and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of vehicle invoicing and registration processes (NATIS)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Excel and dealership management systems
