About the Role

A renowned luxury lodge in the spectacular Madikwe Game Reserve is seeking a dedicated Assistant Lodge Manager to support its high-end hospitality operation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional with strong hospitality experience, excellent guest-facing skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Lodge Manager in overseeing daily operations of the lodge
• Ensure seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences across all areas of the lodge
• Manage front-of-house and back-of-house staff to achieve high standards of customer service
• Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to budget planning and forecasting
• Coordinate events, activities, and functions as required

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Management or Hospitality (beneficial)
• Minimum 3 years’ hospitality experience in a supervisory role (essential)
• Previous lodge experience preferred
• Strong understanding of 4/5-star lodge operations, including Food & Beverage, Front of House, Duty Management, and Hosting
• Experience in lodge finances: budgets, forecasting, and cost control
