Job Summary

Position: Area Manager Location: Tshwane, Gauteng Minimum Qualifying Criteria: Matric Minimum 5 years experience within the cleaning, hygiene, or facilities management industry. Trolley experience would be highly advantageous Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills are also essential SA Driver License Roles and Responsibilities: Planning/ Scheduling site visits on weekly basis and informing head office of scheduled jobs. Adhering to site visit frequency as per updated site allocation list from head office Check-in on app at every site visit and complete questionnaire per site once per month. Meet with Team and ensure Trolley 101 training has been completed for all porters and training register has been signed and submitted to head office. Ensure all staff are at work and report absenteeism and late arrivals immediately to payroll department. Arrange for replacement for absent staff within 90 minutes. Casuals to be arranged timeously and payroll to be informed immediately. To ensure porters are on site, Friday Sunday, on month end weekends, public holidays and festive seasons. Ensure all new porter documents are submitted within 48hrs of employment (Contracts, Data form, ID, Proof of bank and uniform order) Only employ staff that are ETI Compliant. If not ETI Compliant, written approval is required from Director. Ensure all timesheets are completed correctly and submitted to payroll by your team leader every Monday. Ensuring all porters on site have uniforms and the correct quantity sets of uniform. Ensure all trolley bays are full for customers and are kept neatly in store trolley bays. Ensure receiving area and trolley bay is clean and photo monthly image submitted on management app. Ensure Team leader submits weekly trolley count to Trolley Count Data Capturer at Head Office. Conduct internal audit count at all sites once per month and submit to head office. Report any lost or stolen trolleys immediately to head office for recoveries to be actioned in your area. Ensure that the blockers are in place at exits all times. Complete repair analysis for all broken trolleys and stored where customers cannot use them. Ensure trolley maintenance is completed at least once a month, and relevant documents are submitted to head office. Immediately Report on any accidents or incidents to head office. Ensuring all sites have compliance files with latest templates and enough copies for porters to use on site. Ensure all sites are well stocked with chemicals and cleaning supplies. Placing cleaning and chemical orders with head office the first week of every month. Ensure all trolleys and baskets are deep cleaned at least twice per week. Ensure cleaning documents are completed and submitted to head office at month end. Check that staff have their ropes to pull trolleys. Ensure site has chains and locks if required to prevent trolley losses. Ensure that the last person leaving the site locks up and secures the trolleys Supervise all sites staff during the day. Ensure professional, effective customer relations at all times. Make sure that your uniform is clean, your name badge attached on your shirt and that you are presentable when visiting your sites. Respond or report back on any head office communications via email or WhatsApp or phone call. Ensure that your mobile phone is charged and that you are available to assist store managers with any queries, complaints or issues. How to Apply:

Job Summary

Security advice to clients  Threat and Risk assessments/ Reporting.    Client liaison and professional client relationship.    Manpower management and rostering.  Equipment management.  Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints.    Ensure that contractual requirements are always met.  Incident and investigations Management.  Ensure compliance to the Companys disciplinary code.  Initiating and chairing disciplinary hearings.    Ensure all company SOPS are followed;  Health and Safety Management.  Ensuring Security Officers problems that are reported are solved.  Ensure all BPC policies and procedures are always followed.  After hours visits.  Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.  Ensure training takes place when required.  Assisting with shift changes as a standby manager.  Must be able to attend meetings and take calls to assist with matters of urgency even on rest days.  Demonstrate extensive knowledge of good security practice covering the physical and logical aspects of information products, systems, integrity, and confidentiality.  Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:     PSIRA certification Grade A.    Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.    Firearm competency and a valid regulation 21 certificate.   5 to 10 Years experience in a managerial or similar position.  Knowledge of methods and techniques of risk management, business impact analysis, counter measures, and contingency arrangements relation to the seriou disruption of IT services.  Knowledge of tools or systems which provides access security control (i.e., prevents authorized system access;)  Must have confidence in dealing with the public.  Bilingual (English and any other South African Language).  The ability to work under pressure.    First aid and fire-fighting training will be advantageous.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Computer literate and knowledge of MS office.  Must be willing to undergo polygraph test.  Own reliable transport and drivers license code 08.  Previous Police/Military experience in investigative field preferable Firearm competency, handgun, rifle and shotgun trained Competency for Business Purpose Be willing to work after hours. Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
