Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in financial administration, accounting, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations in South Africa
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and analyses to support management decision-making
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking transactions, including reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support payroll processing and related employee finance queries
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and company policies
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to resolve finance-related queries
- Assist with audits, maintaining supporting documentation and schedules as required
Remuneration:
Negotiable- depending on experience
