BASIC JOB SPECS is to manage: Supervision / monitoring of factory operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety Cost control: Raw material & Wastage (Expenses vs budget) Staff: Two shifts, 5 supervisors manage overtime Precast factory: stairs, beams and lintels Production driven ensure daily, weekly and monthly targets are met. Planning & casting as well as lane stripping Management and communication to ensure that supervisors, operators and labourers understand the requirements of the daily tasks which have been assigned to them Capturing and reporting of daily progress reports OHS management ensuring the factory is managed in safe manner DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION: At least 8 years relevant experience either in a similar role or as construction manager/foreman at a reputable construction company Knowledge of concrete, formwork, reinforcing steel and pre-tension steel Preferred knowledge of mechanical equipment including concrete batch plant, saw cutting machines, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes Proficiency using MSWord and MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other computer software Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong administrative skills Ability to lead a dynamic team Deadline and programme driven ability to adhere to time programmes Accurate work under pressure
