A qualification in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related field is essential.
Proven experience as a Lighting Designer or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of lighting principles, photometric data, and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in lighting design, technology, and industry standards (e.g., SANS, CIE).
Collaborate with the product management team to provide feedback on product performance and features.
Conduct on-site measurements and evaluations as needed to verify design performance.
Provide technical expertise and support to the sales and project management teams.
Assist clients in selecting the most suitable LED lighting products for their specific applications.
Prepare detailed lighting design reports, photometric data, and bill of materials for proposals and tender submissions

Responsibilities:

• Design and simulate lighting for diverse projects using software like DIALux or Relux.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to meet client and industry standards.
