A degree from a temple of higher learning (Computer Science, Engineering, or the like)
Minimum 2–5 years mastering C++ incantations in the embedded realm
Experience navigating microcontroller tombs, real-time systems, and ancient architectures
Fluent in the forbidden protocols: CAN, SPI, I2C, UART
A disciplined mind, versed in object-oriented sorcery and modular design
