Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the transport & logistics sector
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong understanding of:
  • Taut liner freight – national and cross-border
  • Side tipper operations – national mining sector
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to design, tailor, and pitch customised logistics solutions to meet diverse client needs

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition, identifying and securing new clients across industries
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow market share
• Build strong, trust-based client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery from onboarding through to after-sales support
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximise client value
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Prepare and maintain detailed pipeline reports and sales forecasts
• Represent the company at industry trade shows, forums, and networking events
• Stay updated on market trends, rates, and regulatory changes within logistics
