Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Concrete Specialist to join our clients team. The Senior Concrete Specialist will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of concrete-related activities throughout the project lifecycle. This includes design consultation, material selection, quality assurance, and ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage concrete-related aspects of construction projects from inception through to completion.
- Provide expert advice on concrete mix designs, materials selection, and construction techniques.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure concrete works are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments for concrete structures and recommend optimal solutions.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to monitor and evaluate concrete performance during construction.
- Oversee testing and inspection of concrete materials and structures to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and site personnel on best practices in concrete technology and construction methods.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in concrete materials and construction techniques.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations related to concrete activities for internal stakeholders and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
- Professional certification or licensure in Concrete Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in concrete technology and construction, with a focus on large-scale projects in the Middle East.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for concrete mix design, testing, and analysis.
