About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team in Polokwane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional cookery and culinary arts, with at least 1 year of experience as a Demi Chef or CDP. Our kitchen operates hot and cold sections, including Garde Manger, and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate their skills in these areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality dishes in hot and cold sections
- Maintain consistency and follow recipes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve menu goals
Requirements
- Professional Cookery/Culinary Arts Certificate or Diploma
- Food Safety / HACCP training (advantageous)
- 24 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- At least 1 year experience as a Demi Chef or CDP
- Experience specifically in hot or cold sections is preferred
