About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Domestic / Claims Administrator to join our team at Pronel Consultants. As a well-established brokerage, we offer a dynamic work environment that values expertise and dedication. Key Responsibilities
- Administer domestic short-term insurance policies
- Assist with underwriting functions, including policy amendments, renewals, and cover verification
- Handle domestic claims administration from notification through to settlement
- Liaise with brokers, clients, assessors, and service providers
- Ensure compliance with policy wording, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and client communication
- Provide efficient and professional service at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in short-term insurance administration
- Underwriting and claims exposure on domestic policies (essential)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literate with good attention to detail
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
