About the Role
A leading software developing company is seeking an experienced Senior Angular Developer to join their dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining their enterprise-level insurance software platform, contributing to solutions that impact a global client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance front-end applications using Angular 15+.
- Implement complex user interfaces and components, ensuring responsiveness, visual appeal, and an intuitive user experience.
- Utilise RxJS observables and NgRx for efficient state management and reactive programming patterns.
- Integrate seamlessly with back-end APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and robust communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Contribute to the architectural design of enterprise-level systems, ensuring modularity, reusability, and maintainability of code.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, and back-end developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote front-end development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Optimise application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Angular, TypeScript, and the broader front-end ecosystem, advocating for and implementing relevant new technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as an Angular Developer.
- Proven expertise with Angular 15+ and strong understanding of its core principles, component-based architecture, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with RxJS observables and NgRx store for state management.
- Solid experience with API development and integration (RESTful APIs).
- Demonstrable experience working on enterprise or large, complex scale system development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of modern web development concepts, including responsive design, performance optimisation, and security best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of working effectively within cross-functional teams.
