The Talent Room is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager / Administrator to join our team. As an integral part of our administrative support, you will provide crucial assistance to management, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to management
- Assist with day-to-day office management and coordination
- Prepare, maintain, and analyse Excel spreadsheets and reports
- Capture, process, and reconcile information using Pastel Accounting
- Support financial administration, including basic bookkeeping tasks
- Assist colleagues as required and contribute across departments
- Ensure deadlines are met in a high-pressure environment
- Maintain accurate records and organised filing systems
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Proven experience in an administrative and/or assistant management role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (spreadsheets, formulas, reporting)
- Working knowledge of Pastel Accounting (essential)
- Strong organisational and multitasking ability
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Confident, assertive personality with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to assist wherever required and take initiative
