About the Role
A leading and forward-thinking fintech company is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join their team in Johannesburg, GP. Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document current business systems and operational processes.
- Facilitate discovery workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders.
- Design process flows, user journeys, BPMN diagrams, and UML models.
- Write functional specs, user stories, and clear documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and UAT teams to validate features.
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose scalable, creative solutions.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end users and internal teams.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar.
- 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional product teams.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools, BPMN/UML, user journey design, and functional test planning.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and fintech platforms (advantageous).
- Understanding of APIs, system integration, and software architecture.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization principles.

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar.
