About the Role
Join our team at Liham Consulting Pty (Ltd) as a Tactical and Intervention Manager in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for managing staff schedules, time and attendance, leave schedules, postings, redeployments, and overtime. You will also implement and maintain action plans to ensure the safety of staff, assets, and property.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage staff schedules, time and attendance, leave schedules, postings, redeployments, and overtime.
- Implement and maintain action plans to ensure the safety of staff, assets, and property.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and implement risk-mitigation strategies.
- Enforce and adhere to the Company Disciplinary Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures.
- Lead the charge during high-risk situations, including riots, public disturbances, and emergencies, ensuring rapid response and effective resolution.
- Oversee firearms management in the region, including regulation 21 training and renewal of firearm licenses.
- Manage expenditure and costs (overtime, CAPEX, uniforms, fuel, etc.).
- Act as the primary liaison with SAPS (South African Police Service), local authorities, and Disaster Management, ensuring seamless coordination during incidents.
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years’ experience in tactical security operations and riot control.
- PSIRA Registered (relevant grade as required for the role).
- Solid background in law enforcement.
- Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, and compliance with industry standards.
- Proven leader with strong team management skills.

- Completed PSIRA registration process
