About the Role
Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and revenue through commercial and industrial solar solutions. If you have a strong track record of closing deals and excellent communication skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial and industrial solar sectors
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and provide technical sales support
- Conduct site assessments and presentations to clients
- Manage sales pipelines and track progress
- Maintain accurate records of sales interactions, leads, and conversions
Requirements
- 3–5+ years’ experience in new business sales, preferably in solar PV (Commercial & Industrial), renewable energy, electrical/engineering solutions, or capital equipment/technical B2B sales
- Strong hunter sales mentality with excellent closing ability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts in a commercial manner
- Financial acumen – ability to explain ROI, payback periods, and energy savings
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, Electrical, or Renewable Energy
- Formal solar or renewable energy training/certification (advantage)
