About the Role
Jobs 4 All is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Buyer to join our team in Durban, KZN. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the Procurement function to ensure the cost-effective, timely, and reliable supply of materials and services required for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement policies and processes
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock value versus budget
- Analyze business conditions to determine current and future needs for supplies and materials
- Develop strong working relationships with key vendors to ensure effective procurement approach
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Purchasing / Logistics
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Purchasing / Logistics position within a manufacturing environment (experience gained within the Automotive Industry will be an advantage)
- Experience in negotiating and facilitating supply, pricing and service contracts
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and Incoterms
- Advanced Computer skills proficient with MS Office, especially MS Excel
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Purchasing / Logistics
- Advanced certifications in procurement or a related field (optional)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
