About the Role
Our FMCG client in Brackenfell Cape Town is seeking a highly skilled HR Officer to join their team. As an HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment processes, including job posting, interviewing, and making offers.
- Address employee inquiries, resolve grievances, and implement disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and maintain employee records.
- Organize and deliver training programs, including new hire onboarding.
- Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
- Promote employee engagement through various initiatives, such as team building and awards programs.
- Participate in succession planning activities to ensure a smooth transition of leadership roles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- 5 years relevant experience in HR, within the FMCG/FMCG food or a similar industry
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws
