About the Role
Our client, a leading institution in agricultural education, is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Lecturer in Senior Grain Grading and Silo Management to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, extensive agricultural experience, and in-depth knowledge of grain grading and silo operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical training in grain grading, silo management, and related agricultural subjects.
- Develop, update, and implement course materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and site visits to provide hands-on experience in grain handling and storage.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and practical assessments.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students on academic and career-related matters.
Requirements
- Minimum requirements: Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture and Grain Science
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Extensive experience in grain grading, silo operations, and agricultural practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in grain handling and storage is an advantage.

Salary & Benefits
R 35 000 per month (Cost to Company)
