About the Role
Career Circuit is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our retail project team in Pretoria. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. With a focus on shop fitting within the retail sector, we are looking for a seasoned professional with 5-8 years of experience in managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end;
- Define project scope and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with executive management;
- Develop project plans and schedule;
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion;
- Communicate with customers on ongoing basis;
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and customers;
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommended subsequent budget changes where necessary;
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools;
- Track project milestones and deliverables;
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations;
- Issue status reports to the project team
- Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans;
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in shop fitting within the retail sector;
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability;
- Excellent coordination and negotiation skills;
- Effective decision-making and communication skills;
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities;
Qualifications
- Grade 12 National Diploma Project Management / relevant experience
