About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Technical Sales Rep to join our client, specialising in sanding, cutting and polishing supplies, in Gauteng. As a Sales Rep, you will play a crucial role in sourcing potential clients to expand the business. This position requires a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- First customer visit at 8:30 am
- Last customer visit starts at 3:30 pm
- Minimum 12 customer visits per day
- Minimum 4 cold calls per week (researched beforehand)
- Submit and discuss cold calls during Friday sales meeting
- Minimum 4 to 5 customer visits on Fridays
- More visits if possible
- Follow up on tasks within one week
- Complete tasks once done
- All calls must have a goal and be planned on Skynamo
- Set and plan new distributor/reseller calls
- Discuss distributor/reseller calls and growth during sales meetings
- Record all information from visits and comments on Skynamo
- Log travel claims daily on Skynamo
- Use Skynamo for customer calls
- Sales meetings on Fridays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- Complete on-time paperwork
- Open one new account per month
- Perform 1 cutting/grinding test per month (with report & photos)
- Achieve monthly sales budget
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a similar industry
- Technical knowledge of sanding, cutting and polishing products advantageous
- Matric required
- Tertiary education advantageous
- Self-Disciplined
- Motivated
- People person
