About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our team at Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd in Lephalale. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing delicious breakfast dishes to high standards, while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast meals to order
- Manage high-volume breakfast service during peak periods
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols
Requirements
- Culinary qualification or professional cooking certification (preferred)
- Food Safety & Hygiene certificate (Level 2 or higher)
- 1–2 years’ experience as a Breakfast Chef, Line Cook, or similar role
- Experience working in hotels, restaurants, or catering environments
- Ability to multitask and organize an efficient station
Qualifications
- Culinary qualification or professional cooking certification
- Food Safety & Hygiene certificate (Level 2 or higher)
- Matric or equivalent qualification
